Since today I went to wave rock, and there are no other restaurants nearby, and wave rock cafe is the only one. Though it is the only choice, and surprisingly the food is quite ok. The potatoe soup is a bit thick. The roast chicken in bbq sauce is really tender and tasty! And the sausage is very meaty and rich in Pork flavor. The best of all is the coffee, they got nice soy cappuccino! Yummy!

Awesome place to visit, it's like mini mall.There is a Cafe serving food, coffee and cakes...along the cafe is a souvenir and map counter, and for a small donation you can visit the Lace Museum, Toy Soldier Collection and the mini zoo...a great way to spend a few hours.Highly recommend while in Hyden

Dishonest lady and bad quality drink. Charged more than the menu price. When politely asked, a very lame excuse was given which we decided not worth to argue, paid and left. Got hot chocolate which was bad, tasted like Milo in warm water. Make sure you check prices before you buy.

Absolutely appalling! Ordered a chicken and salad sandwich, was told they weren't making anymore sandwiches as they already had too many too make. They had 1 pie and 1 sausage roll in the warmer, again was told they wouldn't heat anymore as they had already refilled the warmer twice already. The old lady and man are rude and have poor customer service skills.Waited 15 minutes to buy tickets into the wildlife park only to be charged $70+ for 3kids under 10 y.o and 2 adults. The animals are in poor condition and the area is very poorly kept. Very disappointed and disgusted.

Popped in to get info and food. No one on the info desk but as there were a couple of bus loads of tourists, it would have been all hands on deck in the cafe so understandable. A couple of tourists had some brochures or booklets in their hand. Out from behind the counter came a screeching yell and one of the staff came striding out yelling that the people were stealing things. The place went quiet, terrible- there are ways to approach people. We left.

Bad service from the get go. No one around to serve. Toasted sandwhichs not toasted, left to wait for 20 mins while locals got coffee ahead of us even though we ordered well before them. Very expensive and they don't offer hot chips.
