Kiosk at the Dam- Licensed Cafe
Staying at Potters Gorge for a couple of nights - Wed & Thurs - the signs at PG indicate that fire wood can be purchased at the Cafe. This may be true but the Cafe was closed both days even though the website states opening hours are 9-5. We ended up travelling to Collie for firewood. All in all, very disappointing. What are the opening hours in April ?

Great spot to grab some food and drinks before or after enjoying a hike!The staff were lovely, going out of their way to give us directions and recommendations of places to swim nearby (the swim at long pool was amazing!).Thanks so much again!

Really enjoyed our stop at this cafe. The staff were very friendly, taking the time to point out the blue wren to newcomers to the outdoor eating area. Very clean. Great coffee too - strong and hot without having to ask!

We thought the previous generation of Kiosk at the Dam was good for a lunch when MTBing at Wellington Dam but the new owners have improved it even more. The food and coffee was so good we went back for lunch on the second day, even though we rode Arklow instead of the Dam that day. Highly recommend the toasted wraps.

Unfortunately the price rises and reduction in quality have made this no longer an option for me.Used to be a bakery quality sausage roll and pie, but now you get supermarket homebrand style for $8.50 each! I didn't mind paying the higher price for better quality food. But now it's cheaper to buy alcohol.We have always supported the kiosk in the past, but will just byo food from now on.

Kiosk at the Dam- Licensed Cafe
Had an incredible time at the Kiosk. We rented mountain bikes from owners Ganny and Trevor who showed us all the ropes. We enjoyed local beers (on tap) and wines while taking a tour of the dam area. We returned for breakfast to grade A coffees and breakfast sandwiches, all made fresh. Prices are good considering the remoteness of the location. It would. Be a shame not to stop in, if only to relax at the picnic benches, take in the dam mural and a change stories with Gabby and Trevor, who have been around the world and back. Get out on the bike trails though, such a treat!
